CHARLES DARWIN: WEREWOLF SLAYER

Brian Regal, assistant professor of the history of science at Kean University, says that Darwin's On The Origin of Species was responsible for the death of the werewolf legend. You see, a monster that is half human and half wolf makes "no sense from an evolutionary point of view," says Regal.

God damn it, Regal. Liz Bennett fighting zombies and Abraham Lincoln slaying vampires was bad enough -- now someone's going to go off and do a "Charles Darwin battles werewolves" comic book.

it makes perfect evolutionary sense to transform into a vicious man eater and kill everything in sight what are you talking about

Well, someone will NOW that you said something! :-)
I worked in the bookstore at Kean. We had occasional dealings with Dr. Regal. He was a pleasure to work with and very, very eccentric. This sounds like the sort of conclusion he would come to.
I'd probably read that comic book, not gonna lie (simply for the sheer 'WTF?' factor).
Ahaha, me too :)
Great minds think alike, clearly!
